Thank you NK for giving me some peace during this time of uncertainty, for reminding me to breathe.

The other day I participated in a much needed meditation session with the amazing NK . At first, I found myself unable to ease my mind and as a result my body was struggling to stay still. NK then said “𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘨𝘰𝘦𝘴, 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘰𝘥𝘺 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘧𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘰𝘸. 𝘚𝘰 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘴”. That little reminder is all I needed to hear and I felt my shoulders relax and jaw loosen. It is also a reminder that our mental health impacts us not only emotionally and mentally, but physically.

Two years into the pandemic, I was stuck. Unhappy in my career, feeling out of options, resentful, and isolated, I lacked the tools to pick myself up. Insert NK and Thickletic In the Zone.
Utilizing the In The Zone framework, we explored aspects of my life blocking me from living the life I want. Doing the work isn't easy, but NK created a safe space where I felt understood and motivated to rebuild. She's always available, committed, and fully invested in others' wellbeing. Fast forward 12 weeks. I gained the courage to quit my job of 10 years and found success in a new career path. I am no longer limited by beliefs. I have options and intend to explore them all. I know what I want, who I want to be, and have the tools to advocate for myself.
I signed up without giving it a second thought and what transpired from there has been the most eye-opening and transformative experience of my life.
